Founded in 1946, PAVAN has grown to reach its
present organization thanks to the merger of
leading companies supplying food equipment to
the food industry: Pavan, Mapimpianti,
Toresani-Foodmac, Stiavelli, Nuova Dizma,
Montoni Trafile.
The turnover of PAVAN Group – 450 employees
- in year 2007 amounted to roughly 91 million Euro,
95% of which was exports sales: these figures
confirm the growth of the company and the
importance of synergies which have consolidated
a leading position in the world market of food
processing machines and plants.
Six brands identify the equipments engineered and
built by the Group:

PAVAN produces long-cut pasta equipments,
spaghetti lines, plants for macaroni, short-cut
pasta equipments, nest shaped dry pasta
(nidi) and cous cous production systems;

MAPIMPIANTI produces extrusion systems for
snacks, pellets and direct expanded snacks,
breakfast cereals, baby food, flakes and shaped
cereals, precooked pasta and precooked flours;

TORESANI FOODMAC produces machineries for
filled fresh pasta (tortellini, ravioli, cappelletti), flat
fresh pasta (tagliatelle, tagliolini, lasagna,
cannelloni), extruded fresh pasta, ready meals,
gnocchi, etc.;

MONTONI produces dies for food equipments,
die washing machines, automatic pasta cutting
systems;

STIAVELLI for packaging systems for the
food industry;

NUOVA DIZMA produces flow-pack packaging
systems for pasta, confectionery, baked
products and other goods.
